It is inbetween Ellwood and Naples (SPs MP 356) most of the time there is a rent-a-cop parked dead center on the bridge to keep us surfers off the oil land.

When I worked the Coast years ago always carried a small container of WD 40 . The switch locks would always be rusted, Would squirt the WD into the shackle and lock tumbler channels to make them work properly ,
