Will the new apt dwellers demand track removal?

I simply cannot believe they are allowing new apartments to be built by those tracks!  Have the local politicians NOT heard all the complaints against trains???

I have to agree.  Allowing apartments to be built that close is asking for trouble.  How long before the residents complain about squealing flanges??  Noise from the yard??  Tank cars ("bomb cars") in the yard being too close to the apartments??

The city of Richmond can't be that hard up for land to build apartments...

Where in the heck did you take the photo of all that livestock (Goats ??) near the tracks ?  Just where is that location ?  And, where is the location of that Switcher next to the new Apartments  ??

Also, if you please---   What is NOCR ??

The goats are the "Green" way to take care of the weeds.

Can't believe those apartments, they are cramming housing in wherever they can I guess.

I've watched the NOCR move the autoracks through there before. They move slow enough that I don't remember any real squealing, just the loud banging and creaking noise as the big cars adjust their positions on the curve.
