Rain Free SP 4449 shots from the Columbia River Gorge
Author: DelMonteX

From Wednesday 4/11/18.

1) Near the new CP Melonas (North Bonneville). Burned through nearly 3 drone batteries trying to get this shot.

2) Out at Wishram, turning the train on the Wye.

3) Avery, pulling up to be serviced.

Great work, thanks for sharing.
Your first image is artfully done to almost completely hide the adjoining old highway through truss bridge, something that is impossible for ground level images.
I think this is Hamilton Creek, but I am not sure, corrections invited.
It may be one of the near future replacement projects for the Fallbridge Subdivision, as it is a pin-connected eyebar type of truss.

Great pictures of our favorite locomotive.

Love the area, great scenery.

Thanks for sharing!

When I was in the area working, I arrived 1 day early and my friend and I went out to the old round house and got to see 4449 and it's stable mate.

Had a great visit and of course I made a donation.
