I can't wait to see the rest of the photos that will be posted here during the next few days. Here are a few that I shot from my digital camera (gonna have to wait for the slides). Tomorrow I will edit some of the video that I shot and put that in the shared video section here. I'm not one to get up at 6am, but it was sure worth it. After a few delays in Oakland yard, they finally got the green and headed onto the main around 9am-ish. (I never did look at my watch) Here it is passing through Jack London Square... Date: 01/08/05 20:37 Re: Black Widow Bite... Author: danf After catching it at Marina Blvd (slides and video), then a near miss at Alverado Rd in Newark (more of a miss really), then at Cedar Blvd in Newark (slides and video), then a quick chase through the canyon, I caught it at the Sunol searchlights. 5472 and WP 713 cross Pleasanton - Sunol Rd for the first time on PLA property. I have to admit, judging by the turnout, you would have thought that this was a steam excursion. Nice to see so much interest in a couple of first generation geeps and a Caddie. Not to mention what was being pulled! Next up - 918. Date: 01/08/05 21:26 Re: Black Widow Bite... Author: danf I clarified what I wrote originally - meant that he was in charge of 2 Black Widow paint jobs...
