Western Railroad Discussion > A few hours on the San Berdoo subDate: 01/22/05 15:22 A few hours on the San Berdoo sub Author: myoungwisc Stopped in at Milepost 38 to pick up some of those hard to find DW m.u. hoses (thanks sd80mac) and on my way out noticed a headlight west of the shop down Orangethorpe. Low and behold there was a rail train dropping segments along the main. Power looked to be a BNSF GP39-2 and a NS (ex-CR) GP40-2. Here are the pictures:

Here is a shot of the footings and beams installed thus far.
Date: 01/22/05 15:29 Re: A few hours on the San Berdoo sub Author: myoungwisc And a nine unit TOFC train cruised past the wall through Esperanza. Ex-CR, NS and CN units (including a 60F) were all up front with H2, warbonnet and whiteface units.
