I like em but too bad the back half of the WP unit is gray instead of silver.

Kind of ironic that they are sitting right in front of the old UP yard and shops. As you notice now most of it is a parking lot. Great pictures Tim..Thanks.

I can't wait to get or see some shots of the 1983 leading a train through the Feather River Canyon!

Good job, Tim! To my mind, proves sun isn't necessary for great photos. It's obvious they aren't attempting exact matches of any former schemes, but who says they're under any such obligation? I'd say we should be glad they've had the inclination and spent the money (which no doubt was considerable).

I'm stunned, these two units are beautiful beyond words. Instead of picking one of the former paint schemes, they incorporated elements of many paint schemes, honoring them all. This should cut the whining volume on here considerably :-) Can't wait to see The rest of the Heritage units!!

So they are admitting they have a heritage. So what? Considerable expense? Yeah, but remember it is a deductable expense so YOUR tax dollars underwrite at least 50% of this charade.

Nothing but soft soap, smoke, and mirrors. When I see the 4449 running on home rails again, only then will I even start to think the Ugly Pacific gives a rats backside about "heritage".

Ya right Drew146, I like the BNSF and CSX Heritage programs a lot better also. Oh wait, I forgot, THEY don't have any Heritage programs. Keep up the good work JB and ignore the nattering nabobs of negitivity!
