From what I understand, it is to be the added to the UP 3985 train back to Roseville on Friday the 2nd.

I was somewhat surprised to see that 1983 has a genuine bell on it rather than one of the new electronic beasts. Has UP put electronic bells on any of its units yet?

Nice photos, Clearblock. Was that gentleman a UP engineer or a FRRS volunteer with the pressure washer? I went into the cab several times and he was always in there talking with someone. I just assumed he was a UP employee watching over their expensive beast with the foamers everywhere and all :).

Have not seen any on our units yet and have not heard of them being installed on any, I have seen one on a BNSF unit in so.ca. though maybe they are the only ones trying them, yes,no?
