UP will unveil a special locomotive # 4141 with a [unique design ]in honor of President Bush and the Presidential Library Center at Texas A&M Universary on Oct. 18th. and will host a exhibit Nov. 7th. through July 2006. It will be on display at College Station and then tour Texas. Also on Nov. 19-20, UP 4141 will lead an overnight excursion from College Station to Dallas and back. Now this is funny. They already have the screaming chicken decals from the Mopac unit and the yella paint, so maybe they will mix the two together on the 4141.

Naw, it should be engine #4143, honoring both Presidents Bush. On one side, the slogan would be "No New Taxes", and on the other "Mission Accomplished", but no matter how it was lettered it would never stay on track. The reflective tape would be made from a new 3M product called "Scotch-dim". It would have to stay in captive service in red states or be painted with graffiti-repellant paint if it was allowed to visit blue states or the Gulf Coast. The engine would be a remote control unit operated by an ex-member of the UP board of directors, who would constantly tell it where to go.

Actually, the loco will be different on each side:

Engineer: Iraq Montage, "Quagmire Accomplished"

Fireman: Satellite photo of N.O., "You're doing a heck of a job, Brownie"
