------------------------------------------------------- > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eR8h03yShu8 Have seen this video(the whole thing), and the guy shown in the dark room I believe was the late Dusty Durant. South Africa was a great place. It led to my getting into the video business 25 years ago, and I stood in some of the exact places shown on the clip you linked. Witput at dawn, or dusk was a great location. When we were there last in 1984 it was not special runs, but everyday operations. Like the clip says we liked our steam natural, not contrived. Its kinda like going to Africa to see animals in their natural habitats versus seeing them in a zoo. Steam is the same way...no comparison. SA was great!!! Glad I made it there twice. Look for our release of the 1984 stuff we shot on DVD in March!!! Enjoy! Gives me another reason to gather up money to try and make it to Michigan for the festival in July. I also like the approach, kind of like a railfan nature film.
