Steam & Excursion > Willamette #2 - Yet another one

The shop forces made some more great progress while I was out on the tourist train (Doesn't that always happen?) and connected the tender together along with installing the line shaft between the second and third trucks. Next up is plumbing up the air, water, and sanding lines. The team also installed the coupler and some other parts since they were on a hot streak.

The cab is completed and being sand blasted and painted and should be at the shops in the next few days.

Cleaning parts, painting, assembly and awaiting for the boiler continues. Another update will be next week with hopefully documenting the boiler arrival.

Believe me, I am just as impressed since this is my first rebuild (of many more to come!)

When we do the 17, it should hopefully go just as fast.
