I'm really diggin' 316. Neat little locomotive with an impressive sound. Someone has to fix that bell's air ringer though...lol. Has the bell stuck upside down more than should be in the last shots? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/06/12 15:31 by nhiwwrr. her slipping. She's a sweet-lookin' locomotive! Date: 11/06/12 20:15 Re: T&P #316 Debut (Texas State Railroad) Author: elueck The bell has no air ringer, only Robert, the fireman. For some reason the bell likes to stick, bottom up.

I'm glad to see the Texas State Railroad painting a locomotive for it's original railroad. Is this the plan for future restorations?
Date: 11/07/12 11:09 Re: T&P #316 Debut (Texas State Railroad) Author: elueck All of the locomotives will ultimately be painted for one of their common carrier owners.
#300 will come back from its annual in February as Tremont and Gulf #28 (its only common carrier owner) #400 will come back as Magma Arizona #7 (its last common carrier owner) Date: 11/07/12 11:31 Re: T&P #316 Debut (Texas State Railroad) Author: Txhighballer El_Duderino Wrote:

From what I am told, that will be early next year, subject to the vagaries of when they can finish her. They have a sense of humor.
Engine looks and sounds great. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/07/12 17:38 by Frisco1522. Date: 11/07/12 18:33 Re: T&P #316 Debut (Texas State Railroad) Author: nhiwwrr elueck Wrote:
