Steam & Excursion > The return of the "Whose Am I" - Luken #10Date: 03/02/13 21:31 The return of the "Whose Am I" - Luken #10 Author: Mgoldman Impossible - hardly. I thought it would be when I took the image(s)
but now I'm thinking there are just way too many clues if you know what to look for. Good luck - enjoy! I'll keep enlarging as needed - we'll start with one sole wheel. /Mitch Edited 1 time(s). ------------------------------------------------------- > Bullard Machine #2 at Steamtown? Very close, but no cigar. And now that the guessing has begun I've come to realize, I do not know whose they were. I know whose they are now and which company originally operated the engine back in 1911. So - whose are they, now? And whose were they, then? /Mitch Jeff - I think I have a new engine for you to add to Steamlocomotive.info! with the intent of display.... Anyone? Jeff? John? Martin?? /Mitch Date: 03/03/13 15:09 Re: The return of the "Whose Am I" - Impossible edition Author: truxtrax So,,,,how do you turn off the air conditioning?
Larry Dodgion Wilsonville, OR Date: 03/03/13 17:30 Re: The return of the "Whose Am I" - Impossible edition Author: Mgoldman Bueller? Craft? Jeff Terry... ?
I'll post the full profile pic Monday but quadruple the original cash prize for any one who gets it sooner. /Mitch Date: 03/03/13 20:45 Re: The return of the "Whose Am I" - Impossible edition Author: bigjim4life I'll go with...
Lukens 10 HK Porter 0-4-0-T (1911) - Coatesville, PA (Gotta love Google...) Date: 03/03/13 21:16 Re: The return of the "Whose Am I" - Impossible edition Author: Mgoldman bigjim4life Wrote:

Now just how did you Google it? Lukens Steel Company narrow gauge 0-4-0T #10 Originally owned and ran by the Florida Paint and Turpentine Company located operating in Decature, Alabama. Lukens originally purchased two HK Porters in 1902 but had since scrapped them. "#10" was found and brought to PA for restoration by Lukens and later donated to the Lukens National Historic District in Coatsville, PA - about one block from the Amtrak /SEPTA viaduct. So - anyone have further details? Which of FP&TC engines (by locomotive #) did the wheels belong to? When was it moved to PA? /Mitch Date: 03/03/13 21:30 Re: The return of the "Whose Am I" - Impossible edition Author: Mgoldman Along with 4 narrow gauge cars on display at the Lukens National Historic District
and adjacent to Lukens Steel Company. More info here - including pics (before and after): http://www.lukensnhd.org/projectssteamengine.htm#topofpage Bethlehem Steel eventually bought Lukens in 1997 though in 2003, International Steel Group Inc bought Bethlehem. The following year ISG was bought out by Mittal Steel. In 2006 Mittal Steel and Arcelor merged to make a steel company three times the size of any other steel company. ArcelorMittal was created by the takeover of Western European steel maker Arcelor by India-based multinational steel maker Mittal Steel in 2006. Sigh. ArcelorMittal is now headquartered in Luxembourg. /Mitch Date: 03/04/13 03:51 Re: The return of the "Whose Am I" - Impossible edition Author: bigjim4life Mgoldman Wrote:
