There's already been several great pics of today's move of 3751, so here's hoping just a few more won't hurt.

1. At Claremont Boulevard in Claremont, my hometown. Although there was sun just to the west, the clouds didn't dissipate at this location until just after the train passed through.

2. Same location, but with a different focal length.

3. At 11:59AM as seen from the Mt. Vernon Ave. overpass, 3751 and its short train have descended from the Metrolink flyover at the west end of BNSF's San Bernardino yard and are making their way slowly toward the San Berdoo depot.

4. 3751 has arrived at its destination, to the delight of the waiting crowd of railfans and non-railfans.

5. A picture of some of the onlookers and the main subject shortly after noontime. The Santa Fe smokestack in the right background is one of the very few remaining elements of the San Bernardino AT&SF Shops.

Excellent coverage Gary! They all look really good. It's really sad that this fine looking loco couldn't have had a little nicer looking train to handle, even with the diesel in there. Just sayin'...

All of the PV's that normally are kept at LAUS are out earning revenue this weekend.
So you use what you can get.

Great shots!

Better watch out for the excessive smoke in shot number 4! While the loco looks great, this is about the worst looking consist behind a steam loco I've ever seen. To each his own I guess.

Once again, this sure beats a *()&&*^%^&%^$$ bus! wag216
