Keystone, over on railway snobervation there's a mention of some Oct. trips/trip with 425 on the point and Jersey Steam, (one of the 113 guys I believe) states that "papers have not been signed yet" for their activities, so looks like there might be possibilities.

According to the most recent R&N newsletter (available for public viewing on their website), 425 will indeed pull a weekend of Fall Foliage trips in October.

The following is copied from page 17 of the Spring 2014 issue of R & N Magazine:

"Of course, the LGSR will be running its annual Autumn Leaf Train
Excursions from Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe in October. On October 4
and 18, these rides will be pulled by diesel engines, and tickets are $39
per person. On October 11 and 12, steam locomotive No. 425 will power
the train, and tickets are $69 per person."

I like the "Of course!"

The article also states "that a few more trips are in the early stages of development."

Here's a link to the entire issue. It's worth checking out.
