After reading Big Boy below, this easterner wants to know how to speak western UP. How do you pronounce Wasatch? And is Wahsatch pronounced any different?

I have always heard it pronounced pretty much like it's spelled, i.e. WA satch. The spelling didn't change the pronunciation.

WA watch?...I'd say THAT spelling changed the pronunciation!

As a displaced easterner who has spent most of his life in the west, how about WAH-SATCH.
