I don't think the steam crew is gonna have their GPS on this time but TRAINS Magazine is gonna cover the move:

The GPS map on UP's website appears to be up. They're currently reporting being in West Colton, CA as of 5:38 am PDT this morning. Whether that's the 4014 itself or the hospital train, I'm not sure. I'm guessing but don't know that they'll also have their Twitter feed going. The website is:

Mike is a big UP fan so I can't imagine they wouldn't. If not Pentrex, someone will be covering it.

Apparently not with their iPhone app. This is posted on their steam page:

"The UP Steam iPhone App mapping system is not active for movements of UP No. 4014."

ah...that must have been what I saw earlier. Sorry for the confusion but it's what I excel at.

That's just a bummer I'm gonna miss it! Any of you guys gonna chase it?

I'm going to take my kids out to watch it roll by, and then go see it downtown 4/30.
