Then and Now on the NWP at Petaluma.
Author: weather

This I believe is a Will Whittaker picture from the late 40's in Petaluma. I was originally from the collection of J. Brent Macgregor until I bought it. The southend of the freight station is visible next to the S.P. 4-6-0 #2320 while the passenger station is hidden by the departing #3 around 8 a.m. in the morning. The building to the left of the freight station is now gone and occupied the small yard behind the restored passenger depot. The second image is the Windsor turn at Petaluma showing the restored Passenger Station. The third shot shows a portion of the restored freight station on the extreme left of the image. Photos and Text by Mike Pechner. (except the steam picture.)

Diarymans' Milling is visible in the steam photo but not in the current pictures because traffic on Lakeville Road is too busy to try to line up the same shot.
