An Elesco brand feed water heater.

Thanks Brian, good info site, I been searching for an ho scale loco with this, found just brass so far.

The old plastic AHM Indiana Harbor Belt 0-8-0 had an Elesco fw heater. Off the top of my head I can't think of any other plastic models that have one.

Cal Scale makes (or used to) that in a Lost Brass Wax casting. It was very common on Canadian National family steam locos.

This is a wonderful view of the front end of a three cylinder loco. two cross compound air pumps, gresley valve gear for the third cylinder. Bravo

Looks like you could break more than a headlight in a grade crossing accident.
