Been a long time since I saw anything posted about the East Broad Top. Anyone heard anything?

The first time I made it to the EBT was in April 1960 (how many years ago was that?). I commented at that time that it was a long way from anywhere, with no surrounding attractions like the Strasburg. For the average cavone (sp?), that is a long ride in the country for a train ride. I'm amazed that it made it well into the 21st Century. Glad I saw it run about 10 or 12 times in all weather seasons. The triple headers were fun but very fake. May the Kodachrome slides and movies last!

The STB has issued operating exemptions for the EBT Historical group both in Mt.Union for
the standard gauge and three rail to serve a possible industrial park as well as the first
four miles of the actual EBT to be purchased from Nick and family.
