The Nevada Northern Railway Museum is hosting the Firecracker 100 Benefit Auction.

We have 100 experiences and items up for auction! Everything from Be the Engineer to Spending the Night on the museum grounds and just about everything in between.

We have added a few experiences that we have never offered before in this auction. For instance, we have a package where you can operate both an ALCO RS-2 and an EMD SD-9. Or how about becoming a Rail Baron and bid on your own charter?
Another one of a kind item is being able to operate both of our steam locomotives as a package! Is it pricy? Yes. But then again, it is two century-old locomotives that you will be operating on their original track!

Speaking of pricy, a lot of people believe that our steam locomotives burn coal. That is only partially correct. What they really burn are bricks of $20 bills! The fact of the matter if you are operating steam locomotives in the 21st century, it is just plain expensive.
