Spectacular news! Just why did it have to come now and not when I was living in Tennessee?

Congrats to the hard word at TVRM, they are cutting it a bit close. Too bad all it will do is putter back and forth on the local.

Puttering around initially is good. They can get her solidly broken in and adjusted before they hit NS rails.

Some people just can't be happy.

I know it has to run local for break in. If it had been done earlier it might have been cleared for Chickamauga. Or if NS hadn't canned Cleveland. It has nothing to do with happiness, it's about what it worth a 18th round trip and what isn't. Hopefully there will be a double header to Summerville that is. Looking forward to the first video.

Well, this is the way steam engs (large and small) were broken in "back in the day" (generally on a local or Transfer Job and with a Mechanical Department Rider). So just be glad that they are doing it this way. You don't take one straight out of rebuild and turn one loose on the main!!!
