I would rather watch Narrow Guage 2-8-2s than a Big Boy any day of the week.

Headed your way tomorrow. Four days with relatives in Grand Junction, 5 days Silverton, then 5 days in Chama. Hope for: good weather, good fall colors, not too much traffic. I would have done Chama first but scheduled for the photo freight (now canceled). I'll be sure to stop by THE HOTEL. Seems like just yesterday I was riding the Illini charters over the whole road (1961).
