C&TSRR - Colors 09-28-14
Author: Wacky-roger1942

I rode from Antonito to Osier and back to Antonito yesterday and the colors are beautiful. It was overcast and on and off rain most of the day. I did not have a camera with me so I decided to try my cell phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S 5 Active phone.

Absolutely beautiful. I've never been able to time a trip out there at the right time. I'll bet when the clouds go away, they really light up in the sunlight.
Are the Aspens still dying out? Wasn't there some sort of disease hitting them?
Thanks Roger!

The problem was tent caterpillars and we had enough rain this summer that they did not come back.

Roger -- Those are simply beautiful photos,
especially the first three! wow..... And with
a smart phone, too! wow.....

SO glad those awful tent caterpillars did not
come back this year. I had thought most of
those poor trees were done for! SO glad they
are OK! :)
