New Haven 3013 at Cheshire station
Author: choochoocharlie

This shot is looking in the other direction than the one I posted the other day at the Cheshire Connecticut station. That is me off to the left when I was a tad younger. Photo taken September 12th, 1948 by my Father, Harry R. Lange on a New Haven Canal Line Fan trip.

Charlie, I love your dad's photos, and that New Haven engine is a handsome one. I see you got started early, too.

Got started as a railfan very early. This engine received a special paint job for this excursion. The cylinder heads, running boards, pilot wheels and drive wheels got some special silver trim.
