Fast, and furious!

This past Sunday a glorious Autumn day, as we find Reading & Northern 425 in a very brief run from Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe, of course in real time it wasn't this brief.

Very nice, Ed, great coverage. What was the outside air temperature for those early shots? There were some really impressive steam plumes. Now that you have your new red vehicle, how many miles did you put on the black one? It still looked brand new in your recent shots.

Temp was a raw 48 degrees, the black Avalanche only had 98,000 on her.

Very nice Ed!

If there was any question about why steam engines need to stop for water, that video should have answered it!

Wow -- That is a VERY nice video! The 425
really sounds quite impressive, and her whistle
is just gorgeous! LOVE those plumes of
condensing steam! N ICE work!
