North Pole Express at Steam Railroading Institute

I'm thinking about taking my family to this in November and December but was wondering since it's not called the Polar Express if they do similar things such as read the book on the ride etc. The 1225 is enough for me but since it would be a family outing I want to be sure its similar to the experience you'd get on a Polar Express that many tourist/scenic railraods do.
