Actually, that looks like an original whistle on there. At least, it's not one of the replicas that Bernie Perch and I made. I can see that the whistle on the engine is a flat-top whistle and the replicas we made were step-top whistles.

Nice sounding whistle. I'm a little nervous about the one on the right side of the steam dome sticking way up in the air unsupported.
This engine missed a doublehead move with the 425 for some mechanical issue. What was it?

Sounds and looks very much like an L&N whistle.
