My question is concerning the Super Heater Tubes. If receiving new flues and rear flue sheet why wouldn't the Super Heater Tubes be replaced? Are they just in that great a condition, a money issue, or not willing to wait long enough to get replacements? I am really just curious. I am sure the Mr. Claytor & Mr. Lindsay know what they are doing. Is this a lets get her steamed up and in a few years replace the Super Heater tubes? thanks for the information.

The superheaters man not have had to be renewed, depending on when they were installed. All that would be necessary would be to hydro test each and every unit, and repair as required.

They could re-use the flues, too. It's not economicaly
sensible compared to the cost of new ones.

As Hotwater stated they only need to be inspected and repaired as needed. Bob Yuill is heading up that project according to their F/B page.
