Now...THAT is BROOOOOOAAAAAAADDDDD Gauge. 600cm = just shy of 20 feet. I assume it's 60cm.

Well, actually, 60 cm is a bit too broad anyway! That was the gauge of the original "prison railway", abandoned in 1952. The current "Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino" is built to only 50 cm gauge. I don't know why they picked this over the original 60 cm (which is actually the metricated version of 2 foot gauge), unless it's because some small industrial "tramways" were built to this gauge, so perhaps there is/was some surplus equipment available.
