Steam & Excursion > Back to the Past-----SP SteamDate: 01/24/15 10:50 Back to the Past-----SP Steam Author: Barstool Its the summer of 1953 and train 51 and 52 are being shared with GS's and MTs....Today, MT 4339 is the power on train 51 as she gets ready to depart Martinez in the late afternoon...Passengers going north to Portland and beyond will transfer to train #12 which will be rolling in any minute.

Watching 51 head up the Hill from the Mojave depot in the morning was a sight (and sound!)to behold...
