Nice shots Ed!.. Say, Didn't they paint the U.P. 4012 awhile back with some kind of special paint to last a long time and keep her looking great? Seems to me I remember something about that, but I could be mistaken.

Great photos Ed. However right now we must call it "Steamless Town" since they have no steam in operation at the present time. It's a shame that they don't have the money to put the Reading T-1 2124 in operation. This would be the best engine for the Anthracite Region as others have stated in the past.

Just look at that Big Boy paint job. It was only redone a couple of years ago. I commented on T.O. at the time, that the U.P. lettered their engines in industrial silver, NOT white paint. I was answered back....so what, nobody knows and who cares anyway. Well...so much for teaching the new generation historical correctness. Ha!
