Well, that is real outstanding! The down side will be, if the Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club hasn't already been kicked out of the roundhouse by the dl, they sure as hell will be soon. speaker at Depot Days. I suppose that after he screwed the Depot Foundation and the Modelers, though, he shouldn't be too upset that this is their payback. Date: 02/27/15 07:59 Re: Rimmasch to Address Depot Days Crowds Author: WRRC Suffice to say....
The depot folks have very clear opinions about certain personalities at the steam shop. The selection of the speaker for Depot Days was a very political move. If the railfan world wants to think that the situations at UP are isolated to the RR only.....well, that may not be the case. We are under the impressions that the SHMRRC has begun the process of finding a new home. As far as we know, there has not been a club meeting at the Roundhouse for a long time. Meetings are being held......just not at.... There is NO WAY the current manager is EVER going to let anyone with extensive steam locomotive knowledge into that facility. The reasons are very obvious. The show and Depot Days are a great event here in Cheyenne. Glad to hear John is involved this year.

Good times have been and will again be had by all.

A well-known in the area local company involved with steam has two functional new engines to talk about. The DL has NOTHING to talk about, because nothing is working and nothing is being worked on. This must have been a no-brainer for the program selection committee. As for the other guy, I'm sure dl will be the keynote speaker during this years "ed dicken's Day" celebration in Cheyenne.
