Wayne Historical Society will let Nickel Plate Road Berkshire (2-8-4) 765 run on its home turf....Cleveland to Buffalo. I think we've waiting long enough its time for us to get a run. Heck its her home rails right? 2015 should be the time to shine.

You need to be able to turn the engine. Those places are not as abundant as they were in the 80s. Now try to find a turning location that has something for passengers to do during the layover. All of this east of Cleveland. Good luck finding all those things.

But I have purchased photos that show the 765 on the east end of the NKP, east of Bellevue. One shows the 765 on a long eastbound passenger at East Cleveland before the PA-1's were delivered and others on freight east of Cleveland and Conneaut, Ohio.
