Fresh Steam and Fresh Snow
Author: LJGross

Light off-and-on snow in Durango this morning as the #473 headed out of town with the last Cascade Turn of the week.

1) Coming up the valley in the midst of a squall.
2) Just hitting the start of Hermosa Hill
3) Pulling up the grade high above CO 550.

4) Above Animas Village on Hermosa Hill
5) The classic location, about to duck under the CO 550 bridge
6) Coming off the "Little High Line" on the way into Rockwood. There should be no confusion regarding the speed limit.

One more as 473 nears the creek bridge on the approach into Rockwood.

Greetings to all from the Colorado High Country.

Excellent shots, all. Where was this mysterious white stuff two weeks ago?
