What's that engine in the middle photo? Didn't know C&TS ever had any engine other than those K's.

It wasn't theirs...belonged to the operator at the time and don't think it ever ran on the C&TS.
Lettering is for the Tahoe, Trout Creek and Pacific.

Looks like you were there a bit before or a bit after I was there in 1976.  My pics of 487 show it missing the eccentric crank.  Either you caught her before or after they had it off.  I was there about 7/23/76.
