Steam & Excursion > CNJ 113 from SaturdayDate: 03/31/15 19:20 CNJ 113 from Saturday Author: OCtrainguy In complement to Ed K's photos of the CNJ 113 and the Easter Bunny trips out of Minersville, here are a few of my photos.
1. CNJ 113 and R&N 2530 with final checks being done on the steam engine 2. The engines backing out of the station so the CNJ engine begins to disappear 3. The train heading north coming out of Cressona A few more to come. Date: 03/31/15 19:29 Re: CNJ 113 from Saturday Author: OCtrainguy Continuing the photos.
4. The train heading back to Minersville. The sun made an appearance here. I am not 100% sure of this location, but it may be western Pottsville. 5. Same location, but with more of the train 6. A photo of R&N 2530's long hood with the 'Road of Anthracite' logo. With that paint scheme, the engine looks real sharp. Hope you enjoy the photos. It was great seeing the CNJ steam engine out on the line. I also want to extend a thanks to the R&N and all those involved in making the trips possible. Hopefully there will be another trip before the Santa trains. Date: 03/31/15 22:49 Re: CNJ 113 from Saturday Author: rcall31060 Nicely done! Thank you for these excellent photos.
