Steam & Excursion > SP 2472 on the Niles Canyon Railway This MorningDate: 05/25/15 13:27 SP 2472 on the Niles Canyon Railway This Morning Author: billmeeker SP 2472 ran on the Niles Canyon Railway today - on all three trips the 2472 and train was pulled west to Niles by Fairbanks-Morse 1487. A fine sight and sound indeed!

I see space in there photos, but I'm just wondering? Brightside is pretty cramped right now. It's obviously more secure, but space is at a premium. Again, just wondering...
And you guys at NCRY do super work--love this BALDWIN diesel with the tiger stripes and bell. And BALDWIN diesels make such a cool "purring, burbling" sound while idling... Edited 1 time(s). The restored SP Niles, California depot and freight building are in the background, now hosting a museum and HO and N scale model railroads.
