Memorial Day on the D&S

I took the opportunity this Memorial Day to chase the two daily trains out of Durango. K-28 #473 was first out, followed by K-36 #480 on the second train. Both locomotives were flying American flags in celebration of the holiday.

Very nice, I rode these trains 4 years ago and totally enjoyed the ride as well as the chase.

Nice video.  The wife and I was on the 480 today.  That was our first time on the Durango and Silverton.  We had a great trip. Well worth the money.

Absolutely great video.  I just wish there was a webcam at D&S like in Chama.  So great to be able to watch the C&TS on a regular basis.  Really wish we could do the same with D&S.
