Throwback Thursday On the N&W

A few years ago I bought this picture off of ebay. The auction was titled as "N&W M in Christiansburg". I bought it and realized it was 475 in the picture! The back says: N&W 475 Christiansburg VA 7-54. It also has a stamp on the back stating: "This photograph from collection of Harold K. Vollrath"

This is one of my favorite pictures I have, just because its an engine I've seen in person in regular service. Hope you enjoy!

Who in 1954 could imagine this locomotive would be running 60 plus years later?
