Cresting Telocaset Hill between Baker City and La Grande

After having just met an eastbound freight at Crooks,

Passing Hot Lake east of La Grande.

844 was a very good locomotive to run and fire. I enjoyed time on it as well as 3985 but 3985 will always have a place in my heart as Lynn and I were part of the restoration crew.

3985's your baby Bob, wish i did see more of her and 844, only chances was both in 99, 3985 in LA in 2001, and 844 in Phoenix!
