Steam in Kutztown - July 26th, 2015
Author: PennRailVideos

The Allentown & Auburn Railroad hosted a weekend of excursions out of Kutztown, PA pulled by 0-4-0T Viscose Company #6. The little engine put on a good show, and appropriately was sporting a Reading Hooter whistle. It sounded great echoing across the Berks County countryside.

1.
Departing Kutztown, PA.
2. Just west of Topton near the Quarry.

3. In Topton.

4. Just east of Kutztown. This is the best I could do with the high-angled sun.

Take care,

Thanks for posting these. My favorite is number three with the silos in the background. Somehow it just captures my interest with its combining new silos with old technology.

Good stuff.   I really like that concept of "Have Steam, will Travel".     I bet that engine sounds pretty good.   Would love to see here with a couple vintage hoppers and the CNJ caboose.
