Author: LoggerHogger

OK folks, here is a mystery location for you to figure out.  Let's see who can identify the location and tell us what is going on in the scene.

Good luck!

I don't know where it is, but it looks like a local doing a bunch of switching.

The fallen flag, Atlantic and Danville Railway had  a house like that somewhere on their property that they used for a depot.  Don't think that's it though.

Where ever it is, the building goes with the railroad. All those line side comm. wires go into it. Possible depot or agency.

But it looks like a local doing some switching. Maybe between Albany & Eugene  or one of the many branch lines in the area

Looks like right in your backyard Martin at Prineville Jct with what appears to be the OT Local switching the City Of Prineville interchange. Terrific shot and thanks for posting.

Scott takes the prize!  Yes, this is Prineville Junction on the Oregon Trunk.  The City of Prineville Ry departs to the right of the depot.  Yes, that is the OT local setting out and picking up cars for the City Of Prineville Ry.

Well done Scott!
