Steam & Excursion > Cab Ride on the Texas State Railroad (9/26/15)

Last weekend I rode the cab of Southern Pine Lumber Company #28 on the Texas State Railroad. Engineer Bill and Fireman Robert were great. I've been wanting to do this for several years and it was as much fun as I figured it would be.

This is a reasonably priced trip compared to cab rides on other lines. If you're looking to do this, consider the TSR. First class all the way.

Really was a great trip. I highly recommend it.

In a few weeks I'll post the video. I had a GoPro mounted at various spots in the cab and on the tender. Got some pretty decent shots.
