Hopefully, but don't forget that Mr. Delli Priscoli scrapped a couple of good, serviceable Alco switchers when he took over the Grafton & Upton. That makes me wonder how much he's interested in history and preservation.

I notice Al Harper is a partner in the purchase.  So, get ready for fare increases and "preservation fees".

Not really.  #1001 was long out-of-service after not turning a wheel for 15+ years.  #212 ran, but her cylinder heads were said to leak water - so neither unit was exactly in pristine condition.

At this point, the Conway Scenic is all-EMD (with the exception of out-of-service 0-6-0 #7470), as are Delli Priscolli's other two operations.  Hopefully he sees the value of steam, and the value of the current management team at the CSRX that know what they are doing.
