Steam & Excursion > X4024 on the SiskiyouDate: 10/02/15 06:57 X4024 on the Siskiyou Author: drumwrencher Extra 4024, Yoncalla, Oregon. Mr. Brown says it was on the Siskiyou line, Dec. 16, 1945. The 4024, I believe was a 1911 Baldwin 2-8-8-2. 30-plus years out, and still earning her keep. I also have heard crews didn't care much for these locomotives, especially in their old age.
