Steam & Excursion > SP steam in San Antonio in 1947Date: 10/04/15 07:57 SP steam in San Antonio in 1947 Author: spdaylight Southern Pacific #79, an 0-6-0 switcher built by Schenectady. I believe only 4 were built for the TNO in this class.
Photo taken by Stan Styles on May 28th, 1947. Stan was a prolific steam photographer who lived on the west coast of Canada but made the occasional foray deep into the USA. This photo was taken on one of these long distance trips. From the Craig McDowall/Gary Oliver Collection Craig http://mcmrailvideos.com/ Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/04/15 08:02 by spdaylight.
