My first time taking pictures of UP 844(4) -The Dalles OR
Author: Fallbridge4449

Way back when I was a junior in high school 1978-79. My dad, myself and a friend form school decided to meet up with UP 8444 in my home town The Dalles, OR. The pictures below are scanned from prints while using a Kodak Pony 135 camera with B&W Kodak plus X pan film.

Thanks for looking,

J. Dean Sheldrake
Silverton, OR

For some fun, in the non digital age-- a picture of the camera (and light meter) I was using back then.

Nice camera, I see you can still use it if you want too since it still looks brand new!

Great photos Dean.  I love the camera.  I started with a Zeis that I got from my Grandmother.  It had the look-down view finder and yes, I had a hand-held meter too.  I shot only Kodachrome 64 for decades.

Those were the days.
