This coming weekend is the annual Depot Days celebration in conjunction with the Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club annual show.   This is by far one of the very best railfan oriented events in the United States.    In addition to Depot Days, the club show and other events, Cheyenne Steamers will be open (find us on Facebook or at www.cheyennesteamers.org) and you can also tour the Union Pacific Steam Shop/Roundhouse.    The event also features a restored train car presented by High Plains Reservation Association.  

Cheyenne Steamers will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.   Sunday the events close at 4:00.    Tickets to the show are $11.00 for adults, 12 and under are free.  You can learn more here:

Hey John. It will be good to see 119 out and about again. Winter has been too long. I think the show armband is $10. We will have the UP simulator and, hopefully, the minitrain at the Exhibition hall as well. We need to do lunch some day, you, Steve and I.

The Cagney 15" gauge? Good looking from what I can see.

Remember gents, do lunch together as often as you can. Life is short, and we only go around once in life.

Locomotive shown is an early 1970's Crown.  The other two locomotives that we own are Cagney.

Its all good. Alot of people make that mistake because they are very similar looking locomotives.
