I wonder what the steam program would be like today if he never got involved. Date: 06/20/16 19:27 Re: 844 video on RFD Author: cchan006 Bob3985 Wrote:

And I believe he was removed from UP Steam after that, before returning for his second try? I believe there were other instances where Ed Dickens and Steve Lee worked together. It's a great episode until DL opens his mouth Posted from iPhone Date: 06/20/16 19:40 Re: 844 video on RFD Author: bankshotone Spoony81 Wrote:

Just shows how fake he really is. As I remember Roger Mylie was on the steam crew before Ed. When Tennessee Pass was shut down Roger transferred from Pueblo to Cheyenne. He applied for the Steam Team when Bob Kreiger left. Roger had some steam experience on the Rio Grande Narrow Gauge Silverton train.

FYI, it's interesting to note that Trains Magazine's "Big Boy Special" issue claimed 3985 hadn't run since 2007, when the "interviewee" was clearly in the fireman's seat in 2010. Severe case of amnesia, which is not suitable for managing the Steam program, or malice of enormous proportions (in HotWater-speak: "liar"). You make the call. :-) Date: 07/01/16 15:11 Re: 844 video on RFD Author: Realist cchan006 Wrote:

What bothered him most was not the condition of the locomotive, but that it represented the old crew. Cannot have that! |
