Answered my own question.  Found a 1942 Coast timetable and it shows ABS between Seabright and Eblis. So I dug a little deeper and found a 1932 timetable showing ABS all the way from Vasona Junction to Santa Cruz and on to Seabright.. Oh the good old days.
